Meet the Community Transport Team
Jon Brown
Community Transport Scheme Manager
Jon joined CVS North Herts & Stevenage as Community Transport Manager in June 2015. He previously served for six and half years as a Volunteer Manager for a successful overseas mission charity. It's been a privilege for Jon to see the Community Transport service grow and evolve and for it to be such a vital, reliable and friendly service for local residents across North Herts & Stevenage.
Jon is also an actor and director and member of two local theatre companies, and a big fan of Coventry City FC.

Lynn Quick
Volunteer Community Transport Coordinator
Having been made redundant and having more free time I felt it was an opportune time to offer assistance to the voluntary sector. The Community Transport service appealed as it was in a field that I had previous experience having worked in a Finance Team supporting Adult Care Services. Helping to support the team during the extremely busy time at the start of each week just helps to alleviate some of the pressure they face. Volunteering is beneficial in two ways - for the volunteer it provides the opportunity to occupy some of their free time in a useful and rewarding way, being able to give something back to their local community and for the organisation it provides a way to boost their stretched resources.
